In this episode of the Faith Conversations Podcast, host Jessica Cabrera talks with Jennifer Bertuna, Director of Connections at Burke Community Church, about her personal journey to discovering faith in Jesus. Jennifer wasn’t raised in church, but her spiritual curiosity began at just 10 years old. As an adult, after seeking God’s protection during risky work travel, watching her father transform from depression to faith, and experiencing a whirlwind adoption that only God could orchestrate, Jennifer learned to surrender her need for control and trust in God's greater plan. Her story is one of seeking, wrestling, and ultimately finding peace, freedom, and true relationship with Christ.
Isaiah 26:3 – You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Romans 8:28 – And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Do you want a relationship with God too?
